This logo was created for a wonderful winery in Roseburg, Oregon. The owners have a friendly dog named Muller that greets you. Four different shades of black and gray thread were blended in this embroidery to provide a realistic look.
Another example of the amazing effects embroidery provides in this tiny farm scene in Hidden Springs, Idaho.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to provide embroidery for a number of Oregon and California wineries. This Red Lily Vineyard logo sparkles with the combined use of Ruby Red metallic and pretty red rayon thread.
Embroidery presents quality and elegance to this logo. One of many Southern Oregon wineries, Ledger David tasting room personnel proudly wear their logo embroidered on Nike polos and sell caps like this to their customers.
Some of the most detailed designs are achieved using special threads and digitizing techniques. The tiny stars and eagle feathers were created with a combination of manual and satin stitches. The eagle and shield sew in one complete sequence without any trims. The small lettering with its tiny serif font is possible by using fine 60 weight thread.
This design measure just 3 ½” wide by 3” tall. The head of Don Francisco is a mere 1 ¼” tall by less than 1” tall. The “photo” realism in his face was achieved by simple blending of two thread colors. The eyes, nose, mouth and hair were created with carefully placed manual and satin stitches. The amazing detail was achieved thanks to the use of finer 60 weight specialty thread.
